To secure National and Regional coverage, including print and online, to not only drive ticket sales but to also generate excitement and awareness around the launch and position The Coronation Street Experience as the ‘go-to’ for Corrie fans both locally and further afield. To subsequently consider an ongoing comms plan for The Coronation Street Experience beyond the launch.
The Response
Carousel worked with The Coronation Street Experience team to draft and issue a launch announcement release, as well as ensuring outreach to key National and Regional titles.
The team attended The Coronation Street Experience with the Daily Mirror to secure a standalone piece of coverage.
CPR secured attendance of PA and Manchester Evening News for the official launch.
The Results
304 pieces of coverage were achieved across 22 National titles, 257 regional titles and 25 consumer titles. Highlights included:Daily Mirror, (via both Mirror Online and print), The Sun, Evening Standard, OK and Manchester Evening News.
