Bringing Manchester’s Influential Content Creators to Factory International’s David Hockney: Bigger & Closer (not smaller & further away)

How we ensured the new immersive experience at Aviva Studios, Home of Factory International was on everyone’s social media feed at the time of launch and the weeks after.

The Brief

With huge state-of-the-art projections and a revolutionary sound system, Bigger & Closer (not smaller & further away) invites art-lovers and those looking for a unique day out to experience the world through David Hockney’s eyes. We were challenged to bring Manchester’s influencers to the exclusive first-look evening, ensuring a stream of content in the first few days of the experience being open, driving ticket sales throughout December and January which was the duration of the experience.

The Response

We worked closely with Factory International to craft a guestlist covering diverse content creators from across the Manchester region. We issued invites and managed communication with the approved targets, ensuring all sectors were covered. With a range of influencer attendees on the night, including lifestyle and family taste makers on Instagram and TikTok, we secured a total of 96 influencer guests to see and capture the exclusive first look. A number of key influencers who could not make the event were invited to see the show in the following days, to ensure content continued naturally.
