This May Bank Holiday weekend saw the inaugural Geronimo Festival take place at Tatton Park in Cheshire. Opening it’s gates for the first time, the North West’s biggest children’s festival welcomed 10,000 visitors who enjoyed a combination of live stage performances, workshops, circus shows, donkey rides, demonstrations, daily parades and much more.
The team secured over 100 national and regional press pieces in the run up to the event, including The Sunday Times, Daily Star, Mail On Sunday and The Sun. Carousel also grew the social media from zero to 10,000 in four months, generating likes and follows across FB, Twitter and Instagram. The on site press office was managed by the team throughout the weekend. It was attended by over 60 press and bloggers including Manchester Evening News, Cheshire Life, XFM, Heart FM, Time Out, Girl Talk, Candis Magazine and Lancashire Living.
Festival organiser, Simon Goldman said: “It was a fantastic weekend and the feedback has from press and visitors has been outstanding. Geronimo will be back!”
