This week, visitors to Tatton Park might have spotted some unusual and recognisable characters as they wander around the famous gardens.
To celebrate the launch of Roald Dahl’s Tremendous Adventures at Tatton Park – a year long programme of events celebrating 100 years of Roald Dahl, the World’s No 1 storyteller – Tatton has worked with local community groups to create a host of story-themed scarecrows based on Roald Dahl’s famous characters.
Explore the 50 acre Gardens and meet the scarecrow versions of Mr Twit, The Grand High Witch, Violet Beauregarde and Alfie the Tortoise. Get set for adventure as you follow the trail of quotes and tasks to learn about Roald Dahl’s marvellous stories.
