Today, Liverpool Sound City announced the first of its keynote speakers for its hotly-anticipated conference, taking place on 1st and 2nd May. Icons of music and genre-busting pioneers John Cale, of Velvet Underground, and Thurston Moore, of Sonic Youth, have been confirmed and will be discussing their careers and influences. The conference, which covers the three themes of style, music and football, will also see former chief exec of LFC and former head of The Premier League Rick Parry interviewed by British novelist Kevin Sampson on the business of football.
