This week the Carousel team invited press and bloggers to Selfridges Trafford to join designer and founder of Self-Portrait, Han Chong, as he introduced his new spring/summer18 collection. Han Chong has only ever held three press events so it was a real coup to host one in Selfridges Trafford!
In as little as five years, Self-Portrait has fast become the go-to feminine, flattering occasion wear brand for the modern woman. Self-Portrait is instantly recognisable and the guipure lace and lattice-embroidered designs have become red carpet and A-list wardrobe staples. The SS18 collection saw the introduction of stripes, as well as polka dots, stars and citronella florals.
