The Royal British Legion teamed up with Halton Lea Shopping Centre this Autumn to launch its annual Poppy Appeal.
Crowds joined Ex-Wire FM DJ Pete Pinnington and ex-servicemen in celebrating the launch of Halton’s Poppy Appeal with the unveiling of the giant Poppy – one of the biggest in the UK .
Children of St Mary’s Primary School, Runcorn also sang and performed a poem written specially for the occasion as a class project.
