In June, Carousel launched We Invented the Weekend Festival, revealed new exhibitions and secured top coverage for Rainbow High . We’re halfway through the year and we are only just getting started with so much more to come!

Secured Stand Alone coverage in Evening Standard

We started the month off strong by securing a stand-alone piece of coverage in Evening Standard for UK’s NO.1 Fashion Doll, Rainbow High. To support the launch of the latest releases Rainbow High Classics Fashion Doll, Junior High PJ Party and Swim and Style, we activated strong influencer campaigns with key product placements to introduce Rainbow High to new audiences.

We Invented the Weekend Success

Over the past 6 months, we have been running a hard-working press office and creative social media management for We Invented the Weekend - a free festival for all in Media City.

The successful weekend included an array of DJ’s live acts plus a performance of an abandoned verse from Ewan McColl’s ‘Old Town Road’ which was brought to life by Peggy Seeger.

With the festival now concluded, Carousel secured a reach of over 1.4 million, 340 pieces of coverage, 10 broadcast hits.

Revealed a New Exhibition at The Kimpton Hotel

As a proud partner of the queer community and supporter of Northern talent, we supported Kimpton Clocktower to reveal their latest art collection ‘Friends of Dorothy’ by 16 of Friends of Dorothy’s Manchester-based artists, a diverse mix of established and new and emerging talent.

We tapped into our connections with local Manchester press to get the news out and secured coverage in MEN, Visit Manchester, Canal Street Online and Secret Manchester.

Metquarter Hosts Exhibitions for Liverpool’s Taylor Town

Metquarter worked in collaboration with Liverpool City Council to host craft workshops and two Taylor Swift-themed installations at the centre as part of the city’s Taylor Town Trail.

There was widespread coverage mentioning the centre in national, broadcast and regional media with 125 pieces of coverage and a reach of over 3.3 billion across titles including ITV, Guardian, BBC North West, Daily Mail and NME!

In June, we were thrilled to announceSarah’s promotion to Senior Account Director. Sarah has been an integral part of Carousel since joining in 2022, and her expertise and passion for securing top headlines and outstanding campaigns, alongside training to be a fully qualified Mental Health practitioner, have greatly contributed to the success of our team.
