April has been a busy one! We’ve launched new venues and exhibitions, hosted Liverpool FC captain Virgil Van Dijk, and we’re shortlisted in a brace of awards. Read on for the full scoop!

Launched BOXPARK Liverpool With a Bang

This month we organised the opening of the award-winning dining and entertainment destination with a VIP launch night to remember. The team put together a remarkable evening with over 2,500 guests in attendance across the weekend featuring special performances from Rebeca Ferguson, Femme Fatale and Mic Lowry.

Guests had a chance to enjoy delicious food from the amazing indie traders while being immersed in the vibrant city’s culture. The team secured over 100 pieces of coverage including BBC News, Liverpool Echo, plus many more gaining a reach of over 574 million.

The Art of Banksy Exhibition Returns!

Following the unprecedented demand and popularity of The Regent Street exhibition, the world’s largest collection of Banksy pieces is extending the London residency in its latest location - Soho! We announced the news to national and regional press and secured coverage in BBC News, Evening Standard, and The Collectorto name a few.

The Municipal Hotel & Spa Liverpool Welcomed Virgil Van Dijk

Liverpool FC captain Virgil Van Dijk took a trip to The Municipal Hotel & Spa Liverpool alongside Expedia for their brand partnership to celebrate Liverpool as a trending global destination.

The social team were on-site at The Municipal Hotel, capturing exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the visit while Virgil explored the luxury boutique hotel that boasts already iconic offerings such as the Palm Court, The Botanic Tea Room and the Seaforth restaurant.

Kimpton Exhibition

April was a big month for launches as the team headed the unveiling of the newest exhibition to land on the walls of The Kimpton Hotel - ‘Tales of Manchester 2.0’ by Emma Evans. This newest instalment showcases an array of work centred around positivity and empowerment.
Carousel secured coverage with key Manchester press such as BBC Radio Manchester, Manchester’s Finest and I Love Manchester.

Find a Rainbow Day

The UK’s Number 1 Fashion Doll - Rainbow High - hopped onto National Find A Rainbow Day to spread awareness and to mark the launch of the fifth season of the hit animated series - Rainbow World. Carousel launched a fun-filled influencer campaign across Instagram and TikTok. To enhance the content, we gifted bespoke themed mailers to a selection of micro-influencers and brand fans. The mailers featured a doll from the new collection as well as movie-themed accessories such as popcorn and branded blankets to help fans of Rainbow High enjoy the new series in the comfort of their own home.

Cheshire Fest Appoints Carousel

Carousel welcomes Cheshire Fest to its festival portfolio to support the PR and influencer activations. The team is amplifying the boutique festival’s voice with strategic digital storytelling and we’re utilising our extensive network of journalists, influencers and celebrities to assist the brand in reaching new audiences and increasing ticket sales.

We’ve hit the ground running and in just a few weeks of working together have managed to secure coverage of the first-wave lineup in Manchester Evening News and The Evening Standard.

Carousel is Nominated for Two Awards!

We are extremely proud of this one! We have been nominated for not one, but two high-profile awards. In the CIPR Excellence Awards, our work across People’s Postcode Lottery has been shortlisted for Best Channel Delivery. Carousel has also been shortlisted in two categories in the PRCA Dare Awards for Event of the Year for Euroivsion EuroFestival and Large Consultancy of the Year.

Congratulations are in order for Libby who has been promoted to Account Executive this month. Libby started with us as a summer intern in 2023, and since then she has been instrumental in campaigns and events across her accounts.
