Moda took over the top floor of Rockwater Hove - a renowned seafront venue, to host an exclusive launch event to bring together community members and other stakeholders to celebrate an exclusive image and 360 video reveal of Moda, Hove Central, which will also be classed as one of the healthiest places in the country to live, thanks to its globally acclaimed Fitwel accreditation.
The evening was a celebration of the area, with entertainment curated by Brighton and Hove’s latest award-winning drag artist, compere and DJ, Alfie Ordinary, and Woody Cook, son of the world-renowned Fatboy Slim, also delivering an electric DJ set for attendees. Local artist David Pop! also wowed attendees with a live painting demonstration and image that will adorn the walls of the future development.
To create the ultimate party mood, the space was decorated with disco balls, photobooth and of course Moda letters.
Moda, Hove Central, is situated within the historical Hove Station Quarter and will play a major part in the area’s Hove Station Neighbourhood Forum regeneration masterplan – in fact, the area’s rich heritage has been intrinsically woven into the development’s design and building names, with The Clifton tower named after Cliftonville Station which was situated on the same road.
The neighbourhood will consist of 824 state-of-the-art new rental homes, 564 of which will be build-to-rent apartments. It includes six buildings and more than 60% of the 8.8-acre site will be given over to public realm, with new landscaped green spaces, pedestrian routes, and public amenities.
