Last week Carousel PR launched Magazine London – an innovative new event space set to open in summer 2019 and change the face of conferencing and live events in the capital.
Conceived by Venue Lab – a Vibration Group company and creators of the award-winning venues Printworks London and Landing Forty Two – the unique Magazine London is a multi-million pound joint investment in a new cultural destination for London and destined to be one of the most important new event spaces in the city for decades.
The ground-up project in the heart of Greenwich Peninsula will offer a flexible 3000 capacity venue – a sleek, modern blank canvas perfect for hosting anything from concerts, conferences, exhibitions, product launches, parties, award ceremonies and dinners.
Magazine London’s USP is the adjoining Showground – a landscaped environment on the banks of the Thames boasting a capacity of 7,000 – delivering a combined capacity of 10,000 opening-up the potential for events, brand activations and festivals that require an outdoor element.
Said Carousel PR Joint MD Gawen Higgins: “With our extensive experience in live events, music festivals and property development Carousel is uniquely positioned to deliver a campaign that will reach target audiences beyond the traditional channels. It’s a very exciting project and we’re extremely happy to be involved from the beginning.”
Simon Tracey, Vibration Group CEO said: “We’ve worked very successfully with Carousel before on various developments and shopping centre schemes and their pedigree on music festivals and live events is well known in the industry. We needed something a little different – more dynamic – for Magazine London and Carousel was the obvious choice.”
Construction of Magazine London begins December 2018 with the launch set for summer 2019.
