It’s been a busy few weeks for Carousel as the team have been announcing a stellar sister show to the UK’s favourite family festival, Camp Bestival Dorset. Camp Bestival Shropshire is now coming to Weston Park 18-21 August 2022.
Following hot on the heels of the pioneering Dorset-based jamboree in July, Camp Bestival Shropshire is a brand-new event bringing all the unique and essential family friendly elements of the original Camp Bestival to the heart of England.
For the initial announcement, Carousel secured 121 pieces of coverage including standalone articles in BBC News, The Sun & The Scottish Sun print, The Herald and Birmingham Mail as well as interviews for festival co-curator’s Jose and Rob da Bank across BBC Radio Shropshire, Free Radio, Shropshire Star, Access All Areas and Events Industry News.
Carousel also recently announced the dates for pre-sale and general sale tickets for the festival, securing an additional 161 pieces of coverage for Camp Bestival Shropshire across key regional and trade titles. Overall, the team has secured 282 pieces of coverage for the festival in less than a month!
