Once home to the headquarters of Liverpool City Council, the Grade II listed building has just started a new chapter as The Municipal Hotel, the UK’s only MGallery.
The iconic listed building spans four floors and features 179 luxurious rooms, with considered design references throughout that pay homage to the building’s rich heritage.
It features a swimming pool, sauna and steam room, fitness area, treatment rooms, laconicum, salon and spa. The Seaforth restaurant and Botanic Tea Room, welcoming guests from morning right through to the small hours, with indulgent all-day menus that emphasize championing local makers and celebrating the spirit of Liverpool.
The Palm Court bar and lounge sit in the heart of the hotel, with a state-of-the-art bar taking centre stage and a programme of live music also scheduled.
Carousel has been appointed to manage the press office and social media for the hotel. As a central part of the city, the building's history needed to be celebrated during our grand opening launch event.
We welcomed 115 guests to our drinks reception in the iconic Palm Court alongside private tours of the property to showcase its transformation and evolution throughout the years.
The guestlist consisted of press, influencers, local business owners and managers plus former members of the council.
