Transition, a brand new snow and music festival from the creative team behind Snowbombing, kicked off on Sunday in the stunning snow-capped resort of Avoriaz in the French Alps with the grime-meister himself – Dizzee Rascal – starting the proceedings with an incredible open-air performance.
The week long festival has welcomed legends from across the dance pantheon including genre-transcending garage duo Bondax, Canadian DJ, producer and remixer B-Traits, electro hip-hop maestro Krafty Kuts, drum & bass hero Wilkinson and DJ Mag’s Best Breakthrough Producer Ben Pearce to name but a few so it’s safe to say that the hills have come alive to the sound of some very, very serious beats.
Revelers have also enjoyed some ‘bombing favourites like the Ride & Seek competition and the now legendary Pool Parties!
Jess and Joe from Carousel were on site to man the press office and oversee the the fair distribution of Jager Bombs. They have returned safe and sound and are off for a long lie down.
