The halls of Selfridges Trafford were decked with bows of holly, tinsel and baubles as press descended on the store for this year’s Christmas Press Day. A very special guest in a red suit and plenty of treats met the bloggers and journalists, including Cheshire Life, Manchester Evening News, House of Coco and Viva magazine. Father Christmas, his elf, Blizzard, and a beautiful gospel choir made the event extra festive along with mini mince pies, warming hot chocolate and goodie bags.
This year Selfridges’ Christmas theme ‘Journey To The Stars’ is based around the constellations. Personal shoppers talked press through the must-have party dresses of the season and limited edition beauty palettes. The favourites for gift guides included the Christmas pet range, Impossible Instant Lab Universal, personalised Nutella jars and Selfridges’ famous hampers.
Even the grumpiest of people couldn’t help but smile as Selfridges began the countdown to Christmas in its usual spectacular and glamorous style!
