Time for The Bright Old Things at Selfridges

In a twist on its annual Bright Young Things campaign, Selfridges have decided to celebrate creativity found in later life – with a group of inspiring, artistic Bright Old Things.Partnering with the newly-refurbished Whitworth Art Gallery, Selfridges has created an in-store art exhibition that includes works by photographer Johnnie Shand Kydd and fashion designer Helen Storey (pictured).

A series of talks are also set to take place in the store – including One Day author David Nicholls in conversation with DJ Dave Haslam, fashion expert Brit Smith Start discussing her new found vocation with journalist Katie Puckrick and the final talk at the Whitworth with Johnnie Shand Kydd and writer Anne Karpf.
