Our in-house HR and Talent Director works with everyone in the team to support and develop talents with bespoke training and development programs, ensuring everyone has a personal development plan. With annual reviews, employee-led objectives and regular check ins, development programs include 121 coaching, external trainers, PRCA accredited courses and wellness workshops. Nobody wants to be left wondering what their next career step is – we will work with you on your career goals and aspirations.

In any team, good line managers are crucial. Along with a buddy system, comprehensive induction and on-boarding, your line manager is there to support you in every step of your Carousel journey.
Our Home
Operating a hybrid working model, we understand the value of office days and have worked hard to create a lively, productive working environment. Based on the outskirt’s of Manchester’s Northern Quarter, Ducie House is a stone’s throw from Piccadilly Station and Ancoats’ vibrant bar and restaurant scene. The modern, industrial duplex space has plenty of space for quiet thinking time, along with breakout zones for catching up with colleagues over coffee.
Social Life
We know we get the best from our team through providing the right space and time to encourage creativity and to allow friendships to grow. Carousel’s volunteer events committee who plan and run our team socials, understand this and work hard to ensure there’s something for everyone .
The office bar opens every Thursday as we toast team successes and share our weekly highlights. Once a quarter, there’s a social on us – previous outings have included private screenings, escape rooms, theme parks, and comedy nights. We’re an active bunch and you’ll often find invites to yoga, a team lunch, life drawing class or a pub quiz in your inbox. There’s also a monthly book club and impromptu bake offs to get stuck in to!
Added Extras
As well as the free office bar, fruit and cereals are provided, along with espresso machines throughout the office. Company pension comes as standard, along with a MacBook Air. Additional extras also include private medical and extra days annual leave in recognition of service. Everyone in the team has membership to Health Assured, a comprehensive EAP health and wellbeing support.

Intern Programme
We love to be given the opportunity to show just how great a career in PR and Social Media can be and our intern program does just that! During your time with us, we’ll try to expose you to all elements of the industry so you can understand further the necessary skills and insights to go on and get a career in the industry if it’s for you.*As our intern program is very popular, the earliest placement opportunity is now from September onwards.
